The Rheology Probe is designed to automatically measure the properties of fresh concrete in the concrete mixer and this without sampling.It continuously measures the following properties:

-Slump

-Temperature

-Viscosity

-Yield

-Drum speed

-Direction of rotation

-Volume of Concrete in drum

The system consists of a probe, a solar panel, a display and a receiver. The probe is powered by an internal battery which is recharged by means of the solar panel. The display is powered by the truck battery. The probe sends all measured data wirelessly to the display, which processes the data and makes it visible. The display also stores the data, and then sends it wirelessly whenever the truck comes within the range of the receiver. The receiver ensures that the data is accessable via a web application which can be consulted from PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone,... with internet connection.
